Event description
Event date: 21 November 2022, 16:00–17:00 CET
The AI for Good platform will host the Machine Learning Supporting Ecology webinar to present success stories in which machine-learning technologies contributed to nature conservation.
Data has become increasingly abundant in every aspect of our life. An under-exploited area is the collection of data on animal ecology, where the use of digital-sensing technologies could be beneficial for understanding biodiversity changes.
In this webinar, the speakers will present camera traps and drone data that could be used to support sensing, population estimation, and a general understanding of animal behaviour.
