The increasing presence of artificial intelligence (AI) in the military domain has wide-ranging implications for international security, including strategic stability, peace promotion, international law, technology races, and the transformation of operational environments.
To address the extensive impact of AI on defence transformation, ‘The AI Wave in Defence Innovation’ offers an international and interdisciplinary perspective on the adoption and governance of AI and machine learning in defence and military innovation by major and middle powers.
This ‘Geneva book launch’ in collaboration with the S. Rajaratnam School of International Studies (RSIS) in Singapore, will bring together a group of international experts to discuss select chapters from the book. The discussions will provide insights into the militarisation of AI, as well as highlight key similarities and differences among AI powers in the evolving strategic landscape.
