During the pandemic, the health sector has been the target of malicious cyber attacks. The situation has underlined the need to increase cybersecurity resilience in the health sector. This challenge can only be addressed by a comprehensive, coordinated, multidimensional and multistakeholder approach.

What can the international community do to ensure the protection and resilience of our health sector?

The event will look at what we can learn from cyber incidents in the context of the pandemic and how to develop sustainable solutions to ensure the adequate protection of the healthcare sector from malicious cyber activities.

The event is organised by the Permanent Missions of the Kingdom of the Netherlands and Switzerland to the United Nations Office and the other international organizations in Geneva.
