The Open Geneva Hackathons will be held on 12-14 May 2017, in Geneva, Switzerland. The event is part of the digital strategy of the University of Geneva, and its objective is to make Geneva and the world more sustainable, by helping open innovation generated by citizens, associations, and the institutions.

Hackathons are one to two day events, where teams of engaged people work on 'hacks'. Hacks are simple and practical solutions to well identified problems, and focus on issues such as: smart cities, gender equality, open libraries, and blockchain.

On 14 May, between 16.00 and 19.00 CEST, participants and other interested individuals will meet at Campus Biotech, to show and talk about their experience, projects, and prototypes.
